PikaIcons Version 2.0 arrives with a substantial update to our icon pack, presenting a powerful alternative to popular libraries like Font Awesome and Icon8. Designed for modern UI/UX projects, this release offers new variant styles, enhanced icon rendering, revamped icons, expanded categories, and a refined naming convention. Whether you’re developing web applications, mobile apps, or working on hybrid frameworks, PikaIcons v2.0 helps you create visually cohesive and scalable designs.

1. New Variant Styles

We have introduced multiple new icon variants to provide greater flexibility and creative freedom. The styles include stroke, solid, contrast, duo stroke, and duo solid. Each variant caters to different aesthetic needs and ensures seamless integration across diverse design platforms.

2. Rendering Enhancements

We have fine-tuned various icons for smoother rendering and pixel alignment. Improvements include adjusting mouse scroll arrows for clarity, refining Vision Pro and 3D shapes, fixing the printer icon dot alignment, and ensuring eraser and line icons are now pixel-perfect.

3. Icon Redesigns

We have completely overhauled the cake icon and refreshed gift icons for added detail. The support icon is now more consistent, while microphone and microphone-off icons have been redrawn for sharper rendering. Many other icons received an aesthetic overhaul to enhance their balance and overall look.

4. New Categories

Our icon library has grown with the introduction of the AI, building, and automobile categories. These categories allow for more targeted exploration and speed up your design process by grouping related icons for quick access.

5. Icon Adjustments

We have centralized face icons within their bounding frames, made File 2 lock icons consistent with File 1 lock, and ensured solid variants maintain top-quality rendering. Credit card and wallet icons now feature a repositioned line for improved composition.

6. New and Redesigned Icons

New additions include kanban-board, airbnb, social/bluesky, fueler, npm-logo and symbol, patreon’s new logo, peerlist, product hunt, rss simple and square, social/threads, car, cyber-truck, luggage-trolley, steering-wheel, truck-default, and truck-trash. We also introduced building-apartment-one, building-apartment-two, and building-apartment-big, plus various AI-inspired icons like ai-01, ai-02, ai-03, photo-image-ai, music-note-ai, list-ai-generated, home-ai, file-ai, user-ai, cloud-ai, shield-ai, envelope-ai, pencil-edit-ai, and folder-ai.

Performance Improvements

We have substantially reduced vector nodes for better performance, resulting in faster load times and more responsive interfaces. SVG quality is optimized to ensure crisp scaling at any resolution, making PikaIcons ideal for both web and mobile development.

Quality Update

Icons now come with a React package compatible with the latest React version, enabling developers to integrate them smoothly into modern React applications. Additionally, a new React Native package ensures high-performance compatibility for mobile apps. These updates make PikaIcons a feature-rich solution for various development environments.

New Naming Convention
